Description
The Wide Winder Stair Tread is a 1360 mm double tread designed for turning staircases, for use where a winder step is wider than the standard 1200 mm size — typically the wider, middle step of a 90° turn.
On a standard 90° turn built from 3 × 30° winder steps, the FloorTrim Stair Cladding Kit Builder pairs one 1360 mm Wide Winder Stair Tread with one 1200mm Winder Stair Tread — together the two boards are cut diagonally to clad the full set of winder steps in the turn.
The tread has a finished stair nose on both sides so it can be cut to create two individual winder treads, and is supplied with 2 matching risers. Each riser has the selected wood-effect décor on one face and a white melamine-faced finish on the reverse, so either side can be the visible face.
Surface finish is a wood-effect CPL laminate, AC4 / Class 32, matching the rest of the FloorTrim Stair Cladding System. Winder staircases vary considerably in layout and angle, so check your own staircase dimensions before ordering, or use the Stair Cladding Kit Builder to work out the combination of treads, risers and landing parts you need.
Pairs with the 1200mm Winder Stair Tread, Bullnose Stair Tread for the bottom step, and the rest of the Stair Cladding System.
